Love Notes (February 14, 2010)
Elaine joins Valley Light Opera in concert for the Amherst Club, an organization which raises funds for scholarships and other financial help for local groups in need.  More details to follow.
 

(Un)Lucky in Love (February 20, 2010)
Mass Theatrica presents a concert of songs about love in all of its forms, from Broadway, operetta,  opera and contemporary genres.  More details to follow.
 

The Mikado (March 13, 2010)
Worcester Opera Works and Master Singers of Worcester are joining forces to present a rollicking semi-staged concert version of this beloved Gilbert & Sullivan work, to be performed at Worcester State College's Sullivan Auditorium.  Come and join the fun as WOW's professional singers team up with Malcolm Halliday's expert chorus to present a wonderful evening of entertainment and music.  Cast includes Bruce Adams (Ko-Ko), Jeramie Hammond (Pooh-Bah), Josh Taylor (Pish-Tush), Craig Hanson (Nanki-Poo), Elaine Crane (Yum-Yum), Jacque Eileen Wilson (Pitti-Sing), Beth Gondek (Peep-Bo), Angeliki Theoharis (Katisha) and Dave Bonneau (The Mikado).  For more information please visit www.worcesteroperaworks.com.
 

Die Fledermaus (December 31, 2009 and June 11-13, 2010)
Elaine joins the Worcester Opera Works' cast to perform Strauss' sparkling operetta-- first  excerpts at First Night Worcester, and then for the mainstage performance at the historic Warner Theatre at Worcester Academy in June.   Cast includes Richard Monroe (Eisenstein), Sepp Hammer (Falke), Rebecca Grimes (Adele), Elaine Crane (Rosalinda), Ted Blaisdell (Alfredo), Ryan Burns (Franke), Graham Christian (Blind), Nichole Wadleigh (Ida) and Tom Sullivan (Frosche). Diamonds and Toads  (ongoing)
After several years of touring an acclaimed production of  the children's opera Little Red Riding Hood throughout Massachusetts, Worcester Opera Works is pleased to announce a new production of the classic French folk tale Diamonds and Toads.  This production features a wonderful story about the power of words to bless or curse, and is also an excellent introduction to the music of Mozart.  WOW brings their touring production, complete with sets and beautiful costumes, to schools and communities who would like to give their children a wonderful experience with  opera.  Elaine sings the role of "Grace" in this production, which began touring in January, 2009.  For more information please visit WOW's website, www.worcesteroperaworks.com.
 

Solo CD Recording Project   (2009-2010)
Elaine is currently undertaking her first solo recording project.  The album will include hymn arrangements by Mark Hayes and others, oratorio pieces and more, with Olga Rogach providing accompaniment.

 

Original Cast Recording Project   (2009-2010)
New Life Fine Arts is finalizing the recording of the original musical Song on the Wind, the true story of the praying Indians of Natick, and Elaine is privileged to be a part of this important project.  For more information visit New Life Fine Arts' website.
